Dr David Charles MB ChB (1975 Manchester)
Worked four years in the hospitals of Blackpool and Lancaster before taking up General Practice.
Dr Aruna Singh MB Bs(Lady Doctor)
Graduated Univesity College New Delhi 1978.
Came to England in 1980. Completed GMC language and MB BS examinations in 1984 Diploma in dermatology. Additional interests acupuncture.

The Practice Nurses

Our nurses operate an appointment system. All highly qualified with additional qualifications in areas of disease management such as diabetes and asthma. They are assisted by a primary care assistant and phlebotomist who carryout routine health checks and blood tests.
Practice Pharmacist
Stephanie Milne
Available to offer help and advice on your medication. Stephanie works Monday Tuesday and Wednesday appointments can be booked with her and she can also be contacted by telephone on 01253 955755
Health Visitor
Melanie Barnes and Lynn Dickinson
A qualified nurse who has undergone special training to offer advice and health education to all ages. They are involved with child health surveillance from birth to pre-school and hold child vaccination and baby clinics. They have offices in South Shore Primary Care Centre where they can be contacted on 01253 655464.
District Nursing Team
Led by Jan Bamber
Involved in providing domiciliary nursing services in the Practice Community. Holds dressing clinics in the surgery. Based at South Shore Primary Care Centre, Lytham Road. Contact by ringing surgery on 01253 955755 or the primary care centre on 01253 957678
Midwife
Holds antenatal clinics at Thames Road School on a Monday.
A Mental Health worker and Alcohol Support worker
Both hold regular clinics at the surgery.
Practice Manager
The Practice Manager Christine Cowling is responsible for the administration of the Practice.
Secretary, Admin and Reception Team
They are here to welcome and assist you with administrative and non-medical issues. They are fully trained and if they ask questions that seem unnecessary it is only because they need to ascertain the degree of urgency of some requests and ensure that you are directed to the most appropriate service or person to help you. They are acting on doctor's instructions and are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors and nurses.
